Understanding mental health can be a powerful tool, it’s all about how robust your mind and emotions are. Mental health is not a diagnosis – it is the awareness of what is going on inside of you. It is indicative of how you feel, think, and behave. Within itself, this can become a scary reality if not understood.
I remember a moment if my life where I felt broken, almost as if something came loose inside of me. At the time, I had no clue how to put the pieces of my life back together. I fervently felt anxious and overwhelmed, which caused simple decisions to be frustrating in my world. I didn’t know how to acknowledge my metal health, and that made me afraid to discuss what I felt.
