Breaking ground, this represents both a natural extension and evolution of the famed XXL Freshman Class Cyphers. Most importantly, it has made history as the first XXL Cypher to star an ALL-FEMALE group of MCs.

This cohort of rappers undoubtedly brought a barrage of heat. RCA Records global superstar artist Latto set the tone by bringing together the most elite female rappers in the culture for a major moment. The lineup notably boasts her RCA Records’ labelmate Flo Millli plus Maiya the Don, Monaleo and Mellow Buckzz. Quotable bars fly in a crossfire like bullets as each lady takes her turn in the spotlight and leaves the mic in flames. For nearly six-and-a-half minutes, these women devour their verses, as each making a case for a spot at the top.

In her massive cover story, XXL chronicled Latto’s choice to curate this Cypher and proclaimed, “There’s no rap artist currently out there that would have served more perfectly as the ringleader.”
