The author, comedian, and actress is as brilliant, as she is talented,
and has become a voice for this generation.
Her roots flourish from Grenada to Boston and her profound voice commands respect. She’s an author, artist, and comedian, a creator-extraordinaire – full of spice, flair, and rhythm. Her roles may vary day to day, but her need for truth telling and her love for black people will never change.
This vibrant woman is Amanda Seales. She was rooted in black culture and raised in a Caribbean household by her mother, whose home country of Grenada – specifically preservation – encouraged Amanda’s self-awareness and helped to value the knowledge of where and who she came from.
