The 27th annual Webby Awards took place this past Monday night in New York City. Hosted by comedian and The Daily Show host, Roy Wood Jr, the annual award show honors the best of the internet—individuals and organizations alike, and uniquely has all recipients giving epic 5-word speeches. This year Today Show host, Hota Kotb won Webby Award for Individual Episodes-Interview/Talk Show for her podcast (Making Space with Hoda Kotb) interview with Viola Davis. She accepted her award saying, “Listen, love, love, love, love. BYE!”

Actress and entrepreneur, Tracee Ellis Ross won Webby Special Achievement Award for her positivity and uplifting work in the beauty space. Tracee told the audience, “You ain’t seen nothing yet”. Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 4, choreographed by Parris Goebel (who also choreographed her Superbowl Halftime Show) won People’s Voice Winner in the Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle category. SZA, who also works with Goebel, won Webby Artist of The Year, SZA gave the speech of the night, saying; “The internet scares me, thanks!”
