If there’s one thing you can expect from Wale, it’s a long catalog of endless hits. On Tuesday, February 15th, the Washington D.C. Native took over The Novo in Los Angeles on his Under The Blue Moon Tour, with the Bay Area’s own Guapdad 4000 opening up. The venue was packed to the brim, as music-lovers were ecstatic to see Wale perform all their favorite songs.

The stage setup saw Wale posted in a chair in the midst of a collage of fresh flowers, setting the vibe for him to perform the slow jams for the ladies. Rocking a fuzzy green sweater on top of custom jeans with patches all over, Wale started the show with “Pole Dancer” before getting the crowd lit with “Down South.”

Soon after, he slowed it down and gave crowd-goers a heartfelt speech in the form of a poem before diving into “The Need To Know.” Then, of course, “Body” featuring Jeremih and “Lotus Flower Bomb” followed suit. He made it a point throughout the show to perform tracks for his day one fans and his newer songs, reminding folks of his Folarin projects.

“Ambition” and “MY PYT” came next before he brought out Los Angeles’ own Eric Bellinger to turn the stage up even more. He also gave the disclaimer this was the man he writes the most hit records with!

“Poke It Out” and “Pretty Girls” had the crowd singing word for word, and the lucky ones were able to walk away with a rose. Wale threw flowers into the pit all evening!
