Diathe Garnes is the founder and CEO of She’s About Business Inc, and founder, and director of B.O.S.S (Bent On Saving Souls) International Ministries. Diathe is an author, coach, motivational speaker, mental health advocate, and advocate for women and at-risk youth. She is also a mother, a devout follower of Jesus Christ, and an advocate for entrepreneurship, personal development, and spiritual growth.

For a long time, Diathe was not living the life that she was created for. She struggled with issues of rejection, abandonment, and strongholds that kept her in a vicious cycle of fail, try again, repeat. Working in corporate America, with various degrees and certifications under her belt, Diathe lacked a sense of fulfillment and finally reached a point where she was fed up with living a “something’s missing” life.

Please introduce yourself to our reading audience.

My name is Diathe Garnes, also known as the impact coach. I’m a minister, coach, author, motivational speaker and podcast host committed to helping women everywhere live their best lives.

What made you want to go into business?

Honestly, it was never really a choice for me. I worked in sales and corporate America for years and even though I learned a lot of great skills there, I never really fit in. I would have never found happiness had I not pursued my business.

You’re not the only one doing what you do. Why should people work with you?

That’s definitely true! I wrote my first book almost 20 years ago and started coaching nearly 7 years ago and the landscape was very different. Now, coaching has boomed and writing a book seems to be on everyone’s to-do list. But, for me, this is so much more than a business and I believe people can hear that when they hear me speak in person or on my show or read the words in my books.

What should people expect from you in the first quarter of 2020?

In the first quarter, I plan on releasing The She’s About Business App which will give people the opportunity to really connect with me and take advantage of the things that I’m doing to help them on their journey. I’m also working on book 6 in the She’s About Business book series, an anthology that’ll have me working with other amazing.

What motto do you live by?

As a child, I became deeply connected with God and would spend hours just talking to Him. I know this has been a major factor in my life. The motto that I live by is, “Put God first and everything else will follow.”

What is your favorite quote?

My favorite quote is actually something that I wrote in one of my books. “Anything that you can do alone will never grow to its full potential.”
