We first heard of James Tate with his health and wellness called Beyond W8 Loss. In addition to being a faith-based health and wellness practitioner, he is also a children’s book author. Do you remember his 8 steps to better health? The 8 steps are:
Pray
Eat Right
Pray
Drink Water
Pray
Exercise
Pray
Rest
These 8 steps are also mentioned in his published children’s book titled: The Kool Kids and the Land of Giants. Personal health and wellness battles caused James to share his testimony with not only adults but also young children. Through vivid images, core content and a fun story; his book touches lives in a great way.
Prior to writing his book, James recalls that he loves working with children. From volunteering and mentoring youth as a teen, he has worked diligently to positively influence children. “It has been said that this will be the first generation of kids that will not outlive their parents due to obesity, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes,” says James of this harsh reality. James also believes that both children and their parents mirror eating habits. “I am working to plant seeds of wellness education that are easy to understand and apply so that when they become adults, they will not deal with the preventable diseases that many adults suffer from now,” reports James.
James Tate is currently working on a second children’s book publication. This new project is in the illustration phase and will soon be released on all platforms.
