The legendary King Center hosted its annual ‘Be Love Day’ Celebration with hopes of igniting more love to be spread around the world. During the day’s celebration, there was special screening of a new anti-bullying film entitled, The Principle, that stars 4x Grammy Award-nominated country artist Mickey Guyton, who was in attendance along with the film’s director John Viscount and writer Gavin Behrman. The room was filled with attendees of all ages including children and adults with hopes at learning how to spread more love.
Immediately following the screening there was a panel discussion between Guyton and Dr. Bernice King moderated by actor/entrepreneur Malcolm-Jamal Warner. During their discussion the panelists shared stories of real life examples of their encounters with bullying, how it’s effected them and ways we can imrpove as a society. After the panel, there was a special performance from Jade Novah and kid superstars Heiress Harris and Van Van. There was also a special appearance from Harris’s mother Tameka “Tiny” Harris as well as the Mayor of the City of South Fulton, Mayor Khalid.
