Let’s be real for a second, my lashes are just sad. They stick straight out no matter how many times I curl them. It’s quite frustrating but as soon as I found out what the issue was, I felt like a complete idiot. It in fact, wasn’t my lashes or my lash curler, it was the mascara I was using. As much as I want my lashes to look fleeky, I’m not willing to drop the money down on lash extensions. Through trial and error (and a lot of money wasted) I found the best mascaras that work wonders for my stubborn lashes. The best part about it is that my list includes mascaras under $20! Beautiful lashes at an affordable price, it doesn’t get much better than that!
Check out my mascara favorites below that won’t break the bank.
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, $12
I absolutely postively have to have mascara on my bottom lashes, I feel like it just completes an eye look. It’s difficult finding a mascara that has a wand that won’t completely mess up my makeup look. Clinique’s small wand hits every single lash and is lightweight. It’s the perfect mascara for the bottom lashes when you don’t want to feel “extra.”
Pacifica Stellar Gaze Length & Strength Mascara, $14
Pacifica products have really been on the come up this year, I mean seriously! I love the wide wand for my lashes because it grips every lash and adds volume to the lashes without feeling heavy.
This mascara is probably the most natural out of the bunch. It’s light yet lengthens the lashes. It really looks like you’re not wearing mascara at all. I’m obsessed with it because it doesn’t clump up the lashes and is super easy to apply.
CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara, $10
Ah, an OG in my book. This was my first mascara and I still find myself gravitating back to it every single time. I just love how black the formula is for the lashes. It’s like I’m wearing false lashes without having to deal with the weight of falsies on my eyes.
L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara, $10.99
This one looks exactly like Benefit Cosmetic’s Better Than Sex Mascara and it might as well be the drugstore dupe for it. It does wonders for the lashes and for the price, it just doesn’t get any better.
