The 23rd Celebration of Natural Hair Hosted An Exclusive Formal  For VIPS, Honorees, and Sponsors!

The #1 Natural Hair Show took place in Atlanta, GA this past weekend hosted by the one and only “Taliah Waajid”! This is the 23rd year that this celebration of natural hair has taken place and this year they kicked off the weekend with a private tropical formal where honorees in the beauty industry were celebrated, recognized, and highlighted in a beautiful way!

The Tropical formal brought out the bright colors, festive dresses, and the beautiful weather! The formal started with a pre-event cocktail hour on a beautiful, outdoor patio with live sounds by DJ Geronimo of HOT 107.9! Guests were treated to an open bar and special invited media, sponsors, and VIPS were in attendance as the night began. The evening progressed with a beautiful welcome ceremony that jumped right into the celebration of Monique Rodriguez the CEO of Mielle Organics, Cornell McBride, Sr. CEO of Design Essentials, and others!

These honorees were celebrated by family and friends who all united to film heartwarming congratulation videos that were displayed during the formal. Cornell spoke on his humble beginnings during his acceptance speech, and how he has now created generational wealth for his family to rely on for the rest of their lives! Monique spoke on how her own personal hair journey prompted her to start Mielle products from the start!

The tropical formal united some of beauty’s top CEOs in the beauty industry with media, influencers, and consumers who utilize their products most for a classy celebration to kickstart an amazing weekend of natural hair and more!
