Thanks to her wholesome content and unwavering positivity on social media, fans have deemed her TikTok’s Mom. And while her humor does not go unnoticed, it’s her veganism and entrepreneurship that’s most admirable. Brown has her own haircare line called Donna’s Recipe, her own collection at Target containing plant-based grocery items, and her own seasoning blend called Sunshine in partnership with McCormick.
Now, she celebrates her newest venture: a documentary called ME Period. Featured alongside her daughter Choyce Brown, this new documentary dives into the overlooked issues of menstrual health and equity, highlighting personal stories and the needs of addressing women’s reproductive health.
On Friday, October 25th, Tabitha Brown graced the red carpet premiere with her daughter Choyce, rocking a fly Gucci jacket and matching Gucci shoes.
Speaking on what it means to be working with her offspring, Brown states, “Oh, I love it. There’s no greater blessing to be able to know God chose me to give her life, and that means she chose me to be her mom. So grateful.”
Of course, being able to work on this project together as a mother-daughter duo is the biggest blessing.
Brown continues, “Seeing her be this young woman and talk about the things that I really taught her as a child, and it stayed with her. And now as a young woman, being able to expand on that, it’s a beautiful thing to witness.”
The screening for ME Period is the new award winning documentary from the Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI), arriving just in time as the With the Know Your Period Act in California. it is imperative to bring attention to how menstrual health impacts lives and communities.
