Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at Long Island University to Host Women’s History Month Event with Esteemed Female Leaders on March 28 in Brooklyn

Confirmed speakers to date include Women’s Basketball Hall of  Fame 2024 inductee, Taj McWilliams-Franklin; SiriusXM media personality, Swaggy Sie; New York Liberty/Brooklyn Nets Senior Director of Entertainment, Criscia Nicole Long; Atlantic Records Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Shauna James; NBPA Senior Manager, Khadija Campbell; Founder of the Women’s National Football Conference, Odessa Jenkins; CBS Sports Senior Producer, Amy Salmanson; Girls Make Beats Social Media Manager, Yasmin Ledesma; Roc Nation VP of Creative, Michelle Bell; CEO of SMAC Entertainment Constance Schwartz-Morini, NFL’s Director of Event Location Strategy and Planning Ashley Hamilton and CAA Concert Agent Yves Pierre. On Thursday March 28^th, the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Ent. at Long Island University (LIU) will host a special, Women’s History Month event at their Brooklyn campus. The event, titled “EmpowHerMENT – Celebrating Women in Music, Sports & Entertainment”, will convene esteemed female leaders across music, sports and entertainment to speak to students in a series of panels. The luminaries will share their personal stories, discuss overcoming adversity and provide insights regarding their respective fields. Additionally, the event will provide an opportunity for junior and senior students to network with the panelists and gain valuable insight to pursue their professional goals.
