On Thursday March 28th, the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Ent. at Long Island University (LIU) will host a special, Women’s History Month event at their Brooklyn campus. The event, titled “EmpowHerMENT – Celebrating Women in Music, Sports & Entertainment”, will convene esteemed female leaders across music, sports and entertainment to speak to students in a series of panels. The luminaries will share their personal stories, discuss overcoming adversity and provide insights regarding their respective fields. Additionally, the event will provide an opportunity for junior and senior students to network with the panelists and gain valuable insight to pursue their professional goals.
