Oscar winning actress and hit movie producer Regina King made her Saturday Night Live debut this past Saturday and she was a natural. Not that we expected anything less. The sketch comedy host wowed us with skits like Birthday Gifts, the Negotiator, 70s Green Room and Gorilla Glue to name a few.
Gorilla Glue, of course, references the now famous “Gorilla Glue Girl.” King and Kenan Thompson play attorneys (with noticeably slick and stiff hair) representing victims of the “Big Gorilla.” Because “it’s a mistake that can happen to anybody…like brushing your teeth with Preparation H.” Regina’s seriousness matched with a sky high, glued pony and Kenan’s smirk made it hard NOT to laugh. Bravo Regina. Bravo!
