From friendship dynamics to family struggles, Cabot-Conyers’ character Wim has a father but no mother in the show, which shapes his carefree, “nothing-left-to-lose” mindset. The tough love father-son relationship influences Wim’s decision-making throughout the series, being that his father is not as present it leaves Wim to find his own sense of fun.
“Wim is left to make his own fun,” said Cabot-Conyers. “He really just misses his mom so much, and it’s really sad. That’s part of his motivation to want to go off-world and go on an adventure.”
As viewers delve into the group’s dynamics and immerse themselves in the adventures, they are sure to fall in love with all the characters, especially Wim. As the dreamer of the group, Wim seeks excitement and fun in every corner.
