I absolutely love wearing my hair natural. It’s so easy to style versus having to style it with a heat tool. Hair gel! It may seem obvious but hair gel is something I’ve grown to be so thankful for. I’ve gone through some great and not so great hair gel but through trial and error, I’ve found that there are so many hair gels on the market for specific needs. Taliah Waajid Green Apple & Aloe Nutrition Hold Me Down! Gelle, $10.99

I love this moisturizing gel by Taliah Waajid so much, I really don’t have anything negative to say about it. It’s become my go-to gel product for many great reasons. After trying this gel, I found that my hair was gaining its strength and moisture back from all the damage I’d done to it: heat, coloring, etc.

Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Soufflé, $17.33

This soufflé was made for all you with thick, curl hair! It’s made with natural and certified organic ingredients. I find that the coconut oil in it really hydrates my hair. It’s like I’m conditioning my hair while styling it. It makes my hair super soft while keeping the curls locked in place.

No flaky gel, a flexible hold, and no more frizz! This gel by Not Your Mother’s was formulated with rice, keratin amino acids, and many more agents that styles your hair while protecting it.

Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel – Stronger Hold, $75

I hope you’re still reading and the price of this product didn’t scare you away. If you’re willing to spend a few extra bucks on a great product, I highly recommend this one! It is so great, especially in humid temperatures. For those of you with curly hair, you know how much a nightmare humidity is. Well, with this product it doesn’t have to be.

Mielle Organics Styling Gel with Honey & Ginger, $12.99

I love anything with a pump. It just makes life so much easier, am I right? Besides that, this hydrating gel makes my hair so soft. I learned that it was made with over 70% certified organic ingredients and free of junk such as formaldehyde donor, ethoxylate, and propylparaben.
