West Coast hip-hop will forever hold a special place in everyone’s hearts, and Ohgeesy is here to carry the torch for this new generation. The Los Angeles native is best known as the de facto leader of rap group Shoreline Mafia, but now steps into his own as a solo artist. Most recently, Ohgeesy left fans in a frenzy releasing his debut solo album aptly titled GeezyWorld, via Atlantic Records.

On Saturday, August 27th, Ohgeesy threw the most epic listening party/concert at Catch One in Los Angeles, selling out tickets for the event in less than 24 hours. Partnering with HAM On Everything, the evening consisted of a jam-packed room, with people pushing and shoving just to get closer to the superstar himself.
Off the rip, Ohgeesy enters the stage a little past midnight, throwing water to the crowd and turning them all the way up. The cellphones lit up the room, as Ohgeesy performed his standout record “Get Fly” featuring DaBaby, dedicated “Keeper” featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie to the ladies, and even brought his mom out on stage. One time for mama Geesy!
When I tell you this was a full-blown function… after performing his favorite cut off the album, “Po’ Up,” Ohgeesy brought in all the surprises. 1TakeJay kicked things off with his viral smash “Hello,” BlueBucksClan performed their record with Ohgeesy titled “Who Else,” Wallie The Sensei did his breakout hit “Scandalous,” and Kamaiyah came to fuck shit up on behalf of the Bay.
If that’s not enough, Ohgeesy ended the show performing Shoreline Mafia’s top records from “Whuss Da Deal” to “Musty” to “Bands.” This is definitely one for the books!
