It’s no surprise that Black women in sports exemplify both beauty and strength and Nike is making sure everyone knows it.
The popular brand debuted a short film, just in time for Women’s History Month.
The new film titled, We Play Real is narrated by Dominique Fishback and highlights Black female athletes and performers.
For this campaign, NBA athletes will use their Instagrams to support Black women across the sports community. They too will share their own success stories.
That’s not all, Nike has recently invested $500,000 in Black Girl Ventures – an organization that provides Black and Brown women-identifying founders with access to capital and community to build their own entrepreneurship goals.
