Just yesterday, Netflix and UN Women launched Because She Watched.

Because She Watched is a collection by the popular streaming platform containing of series, documentaries, and films in honor of International Women’s Day (Sunday, March 8th). This new collection will be available to viewers all year and was made by all-female curators in front and behind the camera! Talk about girl power!

It includes Millie Bobby Brown, Laurie Nunn, Petra Costa, Ava DuVernay, Lana Condor, Sophia Loren, Janet Mock, Salma Hayek, and Yalitza Aparicio.

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights.”

You’ll notice that every title in the collection is labeled “XXXX’s Women’s Day Pick,” that way viewers can see who picked which story. so members can easily see who picked which story.
