Earlier last week, we found out that Reddit CEO Alexis Ohanian would be stepping down as a member of the company’s board. Ohanian called for a black canidate to take over his position.
His request has been fulfilled because Michael Seibel, CEO of Y Combinator has just been hired on to fill the seat.
Pleased to see @mwseibel has joined the @Reddit board. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him during my time at @ycombinator.
He is a strong leader who will make a great addition to the board.

According to CNN, Michael Seibel is also the co-founder of Justin.tv, which became Twitch and was acquired by Amazon for a whole $970 million back in 2014.
Congratulations Michael Seibel!
