What do you hope viewers or readers take away from your reviews?

Mr. ChimeTime: The main thing I want viewers to take away from my reviews is that I’m for the people and I’ve got your back. As long as I’m living and breathing, I will continue to give harsh reviews to restaurants that think charging luxury prices for subpar food is okay.

Can you share a memorable or challenging experience you had while reviewing a particular dish or restaurant?

Mr. ChimeTime: The most challenging or memorable experience I had while reviewing a restaurant was when someone tried to start a fight in the restaurant.

How do you think social media has influenced the way people perceive and interact with food reviews?

Mr. ChimeTime: I believe social media has done a great job of ensuring that the right content reaches the right people. Those who interact with the content either love food or have a deep desire to try new foods but are skeptical due to financial constraints or a lack of adventurous spirit.

Do you believe in work-life balance? If so, how do you maintain it?

Mr. ChimeTime: I do believe in work-life balance from a mental health standpoint. Personally, my work-life balance is horrendous, but I’m improving.

What is your proudest business accomplishment?

Mr. ChimeTime: My proudest business accomplishment was changing the life of a small business that was once located in the mall and now has a brick-and-mortar store, all because of a video.

What advice would you give to aspiring food reviewers looking to start their own platforms or channels?

Mr. ChimeTime: The best advice I can give aspiring food reviewers is to be consistent, relentless, and passionate. If you’re doing this for money, you won’t last.

What are a few of your favorite foods?

Mr. ChimeTime: My favorite foods include Haitian food, Jamaican food, seafood, Nigerian food, and Trini food.

What are some foods you will not eat or don’t enjoy?

Mr. ChimeTime: I will not eat stuffing.
