Just yesterday, the funeral of Rayshard Brooks’ took place.
Brooks was fatally shot by two Atlanta police officers, Garret Rolfe and Devin Brosnan on June 12th at a Wendy’s parking lot. Brooks was shot three times. The heartbreaking passing of of Brooks came just a few weeks after George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis when a white police officer knelt on his neck for eight minutes.
The daughter of late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Dr. Bernice King was in attendance and delivered a powerful speech.
