Corey “Phor” Brumfield is a body of art – from his physique to his creations in music and tattooing, every part of him knows the importance of beauty. From the South Side of Chicago, Phor has overcome a lot to get to this point in his life. He’s been open about his self-care journey continuously ensuring that he stays in shape and carving out a strict diet and his mental health by seeking therapy when needed.
While we’ve seen him on Black Ink Crew: Chicago, about 10 years ago on New Year’s Eve, he learned how to tattoo his brother, Don/ At that point, he fell in love. And now, we’ve fell after his look into his career, doing of view on beauty, and his idea of perfect date night.
What is your favorite type of tattoo do to?
I like doing portraits, realism. I used to do a lot of vibrant tattoos with color pops, but lately, I’ve been focusing more on detail and realism.
