Over the last few weeks, more and more people have become more aware and supportive of black beauty brands in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Makeup artist, Lauren B. Brown, popularly known on social media as raggedyroyal is one of those people. The artist created a beautiful makeup look on Instagram to showcase that black beauty brands should not be slept on.
The look included a bronze smokey eye that included gold glitter. We’d be lying if we said we were not completely swooning over this look.
Brown used Coloured Raine’s Beauty Rust Palette on her eyes, Pat McGrath’s Lab’s Chromaluxe Hi-Lite Cream in Pale Gold 002, The Lip Bar’s Lash Flash Strengthening Mascara, falsies by Slay By Ella, and MTF Cosmetics’ Eyebrow Definer. In addition, she used Fenty Beauty’s Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Chili Mango on the apples of her cheeks, and Coloured Raine’s Lipstick in Huntress. She completed the look by adding Coloured Raine’s Lipstick in Butterscotch.
