Beehive, consider yourselves lucky. Just yesterday, Beyoncé and Disney released the official trailer for Black Is King and man was it powerful.
The film by Queen B features her loved ones including her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson and Jay-Z, friends Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams, and more.
According to Disney, artists feature on The Lion King: The Gift album will also make appearances throughout the film.
Although the details about the film’s visuals have not been revealed, we do know that the project will include full-length videos for the songs “Mood 4 Eva,” “My Power,” “already,” and “Brown Skin Girl.”
Black Is King will premiere on Disney+ on July 31st. This new project release marks two weeks after the one-year anniversary of The Lion King, where Bey voiced Nala.
