Visionary artist, songwriter, and producer Jevon Dewand has climbed to the top of the Billboard Gospel charts with his latest single, “Without You” featuring gospel powerhouse Zacardi Cortez, super artist Gasner The Artist, and Grammy-winning producer Jazze Pha.

This milestone is more than just a chart-topping success—it is a testament to Jevon’s resilience, faith, and purpose-driven musical journey.

As the creator of Trap Starz and the originator of the phrase “Talent Revolving Around Purpose,” Jevon Dewand has always been committed to using his music to inspire and uplift.

Rooted in authenticity and personal experiences, his sound resonates with audiences from all walks of life. “My music is for everybody—it’s a family affair,” he shares.

Jevon’s path to success has been marked by perseverance through adversity. He has overcome life-threatening health battles, including blood clots in his lungs, and survived a shooting.

Through these trials, he found a deeper connection to his craft. “Through my pain, we started working on music, and God started writing it,” he reflects.

However, Jevon’s biggest inspiration came from his greatest loss—the passing of his father. “Without You” was birthed from my pain, from losing my father, and from the darkest moment of my life.

“But in that moment, God gave me a message: ‘Use it to inspire the world,’” Jevon shares.

His album, Without You: There Would Be No Me, is a heartfelt dedication to his father, incorporating elements of their final conversations as a powerful reminder that the number one blessing in the world is life.

“This #1 isn’t just a win for me—it’s a win for every person who has ever felt lost, overlooked, or counted out.

“‘Without You’ was birthed from pain, but God turned that pain into purpose,” says Jevon. “I never thought I’d be a gospel artist, but God had been calling me for a long time, and I finally picked up.”

With a #1 Billboard Gospel hit, Stellar Award nominations, and performances on major platforms, Jevon Dewand is providing that when faith, talent, and purpose align, success is inevitable.

“God is the pilot of my plane, and we are about to land safely in people’s hearts,” added Jevon.
