Jeezy will forever go down in history as one of the greatest artists to come out of Atlanta, Georgia. His robust catalog of hits include “Put On,” “All There” featuring Bankroll Fresh, Soul Survivor” featuring Akon, “And Then What,” and many more.
And if there’s one thing he wants you to get from his story, it’s the fact that you can turn your hardships into triumphs, as long as you hustle, work hard, stay passionate, and never lose sight of who you are.
On Friday, July 14th, Jeezy hosted an exclusive dinner for media, celebrating the release of his highly-anticipated book titled Adversity For Sale. The invite-only event took place at BOA Steakhouse on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. The Jeezy-themed drink menu included cocktails such as Dirty Bird, Magic City, SOuth Side, Naud Colada, and Sno Man, while the dinner menu consisted of salad, and entree, various sides such as brussel sprouts, mac and cheese, and roasted garlic whipped potatoes, and delicious dessert.
Jeezy has made it his mission in life to motivate and inspire the masses. From growing up in the projects to now owning over 10 thriving businesses, such as his NAUD cognac and real estate, Jeezy had to learn early on to hustle to get what he needed.
“Sometimes you have to go through some things—even some things that are excruciating and that you think you’ll never survive—in order to get where you want to be,” says Jenkins. Through this book, he aims to give everyone a message of hope to get through their days.
