“Trap City,” a new urban drama starring Jeezy and Brandon T. Jackson, is set to hit theaters nationwide on December 13, 2024.  The film follows a struggling rapper who works as a drop man for a drug kingpin. His life takes a dramatic turn when he records a song that becomes a viral hit just hours before his arrest. 

Jeezy not only stars in the film but also serves as an executive producer, taking on the role of Reverend Lylee. Brandon T. Jackson portrays Deshawn, the aspiring rapper at the center of the story.  The cast also includes Clifton Powell, Erica Pinkett, Omar Gooding, and Phylicia Floyd.

Directed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, “Trap City” delves into themes of survival and the harsh realities of urban life. The film’s official trailer offers a glimpse into its intense narrative and compelling performances.
