James Fauntleroy deserves all his flowers.
On Wednesday December 6th, the Los Angeles native hosted a highly-anticipated holiday party for his upcoming Christmas album titled The Warmest Winter Ever. The listening took place at The Sun Rose, an intimate 150-capacity venue at the Pendry Hotel West Hollywood.
Upon entering the sounds were curated by a LA favorite, DJ Suga Shay. The room was full of yellow and orange hues and the stage was cleverly lit blue and red to create a beautiful purplish aura around it. Music executives and various talent alike clamored around awaiting Fauntleroy’s arrival.
In the vast landscape of contemporary music, James Fauntleroy stands as a multifaceted gem, dazzling with his unparalleled talents as a singer, songwriter, and producer. His distinctive voice, with its soulful timbre and remarkable range, has graced collaborations with industry heavyweights like Justin Timberlake, Drake, and Jay-Z. As a member of the songwriting and production collective The Y’s, he has played a pivotal role in crafting chart-topping hits for artists spanning R&B, pop, and hip-hop. Fauntleroy’s lyrical ingenuity often weaves intricate narratives that resonate with listeners on a deep, emotional level.
But on this night everyone had come together to celebrate James Fauntleroy, the recording artist. After a warm introduction from his label, Platoon, James graced the stage to do a brief set that consisted of songs from The Warmest Winter Ever. The crowd sang and danced along and James even took a moment to leave the stage and get in on the fun. The room erupted with applause and praise. After his set, he joined his guests for a night drinking and partying.
The Warmest Winter Ever is set to release December 8th and the world is in for a treat.
