Excited fans came out to the Brooklyn Chop House in Times Square on April 19th to party with the Grammy-nominated R&B group Jagged Edge celebrating their reunion, new tour, and new album by performing for fans in the two-level bar, private dinner room, and restaurant.
Fans started lining up waiting for access to a sold-out party with a live DJ, two bars, and a private dinner room. Jagged Edge is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their first debut in the music game. The Atlanta-based group that was originally signed to So So Def Records by Jermain Dupri has been commercially successful in the 2000s with two #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, two Soul Train Awards for Best R&B/Soul Single Group, Duo or Band, and a Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
The group is currently on tour for their new album “All Original Parts” that was released on February 14th. The group will be heading to the next stop on “An Intimate Evening With Jagged Edge 2025 Tour” at Brooklyn Paramount on Sunday, April 20th.
At 12:51 A.M., Jagged Edge members, identical twins Brian and Brandon Casey, Richard Wingo, and Kyle Norman, came through and stop for photos and videos with press and fans. The packed event included Brooklyn Chop House’s signature dishes like lobster rolls, and signature dumplings.
In the private dining room, fans got to spot the surprise guest of the night, Harlem-based rapper Jim Jones, who came out to party and dine. The rapper didn’t perform or speak on any new updates with Jagged Edge. He made an appearance and left in an elevator to private VIP.
At 2 AM, Jagged Edge came to the main floor where they performed all their classic hits like “I Promise”, “Walk Outta Heaven”, and “Where the Party At?” with member Richard as the main front vocalist. They performed for half an hour, and member Kyle took a moment to speak out about the upcoming plans for Jagged Edge “Tonight, we celebrating 25 years of Jagged Edge, and thank everyone for the love!”
After Jagged Edge left the stage, partyers continued to dance and drink throughout the night. Jagged Edge left the building around 3:30 AM as the party started to wrapped- up.
The group will continue their sold-out Intimate Night Tour with stops in Atlantic City, Washington D.C. New Jersey, Philadelphia, Inglewood, and then Detroit.
