Rising Maryland singer J. Fitts has been making a statement lately with his distinct “R&T” mash up which blends the soulful elements of R&B and trap music to curate authentic sounding music which speaks on the trenches. “Letter To Fitts” his his latest efforts that capture this amazing new sound.

Smooth and gangster, it’s a bit of authenticity to this as it’s like a mix of classic mid 2000s soulful R&B of the likes of Jahiem and Anthony Hamilton that blends with modern flair of a hip hop entourage such as 4PF.

He also PartyNextDoor and The Weeknd because the darker content juxtaposes well with his angelic vocals. For his songwriting it’s a mixture of Chris Brown and Babyface so every track he makes comes from the place of pure transparency.

Co-signs from NBA star Kyrie Irving, singer Kehlani, the legendary Ginuwine, and more put the budding crooner in a good spot to blossom into the next big act out of the area.

J. Fitts is a very talented artist out of the DMV who needs more attention and “Letter To Fitts” might be the one for it. This offering previews a potential EP drop coming up in the near future.
