Countless dedications and tributes flooded Instagram like a wave of grief that strips the body and senses. Duranice Price has transitioned. The old folks would have said she “went on home to glory.” I knew her voice as the lead singer of the Anointed Pace Sisters – a gospel group of siblings which sometimes included legendary vocalist LaShun Pace (“I Know I’ve Been Changed”). But I’d seen her on something else. I couldn’t quite but my finger on it. There was another appearance.
Then came to me, Iyanla Fix My Life.
Duranice and her sisters were there – stripped, naked, and vulnerable as the spiritual adviser who grew up in the church herself. Dr. Iyanla Vanzant counseled them on past trauma in and out of the church.
