We have even more reason to be excited about Halle Berry’s upcoming film, Bruised.
Variety has revealed that Berry is not only starring and directing in the upcoming film, but she is also hand-selecting six original tracks for the soundtrack!
The soundtrack for the film includes award-winning female artists such as Latto, Flo Milli, H.E.R., City Girls, Saweetie, Cardi B, and more!
In a statement to Variety, Berry said, “I can’t wait to show it.”
Adding, “I have to tell you, one of the things I’m most excited about is the title song that H.E.R. sang… and she killed it. So I can’t wait to share with everyone and am super excited.”
In addition to the original songs, the project will include seven previously unreleased tracks “inspired by” the themes of the film, which include Dream Doll, Yung Baby Tate, Rapsody, Erica Banks, Big Bottle Wyanna, Ambre, and Young M.A.
Bruised will premiere on Netflix on November 24th. Let us know in the comments if you’ll be tuning in!
