What motivated you to become a barber and how did you get started?
My older brother Adam Sharp motivated me to become a barber. At the age of 19, I left college and picked up my first pair of hair clippers and started cutting my first set of clients on the south side of Chicago. I became excited and fell in love with the challenging and the freedom of creativity, and self-independence. Over time I developed and improved my skills, seeking other ways to grow a new environment as an artist. I decided to move to Los Angeles, CA in 2006, and the rest as they say, “was history.”
