Genius: Aretha Debut
National Geographic released its third season of GENIUS, “an anthology series focusing on the untold stories of the world’s most brilliant innovators.”
After showcasing Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso, National Geographic has tapped into the life of Aretha Franklin. Portrayed by Cynthia Erivo (Harriet), Genius will showcase Miss Franklin’s career from childhood to adulthood and her musical impact on the world.
