Actor, Marc John Jeffries has been an influence to our culture for over a decade. He has played notable roles in Get Rich or Die Trying, Power, Losing Isiah, Nerve, Notorious, and more.
Jeffries recently sat down with Queen Tay to discuss his new projects: City on a Hill, Bone Crusher, and Litt. Marc also opened up about his opinion on the state of the culture and the role celebrities/ influencers play. “Be Responsible — because of the line of work, your people look up to you — being a celebrity means that you’re responsible for influencing,” he said.
Queen Tay went on to ask if celebrities have a responsibility to give back to the community. “Giving Back is not about the fame or the notoriety that comes with it. Everyone has their own way, everyone has their own platform.”
