There’s a new foundation in town and we’re all here for it!

Huda Beauty has just transformed their popular liquid foundation into a Foundation Stick! The new foundation titled, #FauxFilter Skin Finish Foundation Stick is one that deserves a conversation.

I started testing out this foundation by prepping my skin. For someone with naturally oily skin, prep is everything. I cleansed my face and applied my moisturizer as I normally would. Foundation sticks are great because they’re so easy to use. They’re also perfect for chicks like me that are always on the run.

I applied this foundation in small sections, ensure how fast it would dry and immediately buffed it out with a brush. Upon the first few minutes of trying, I could tell that the coverage was definetly there and it was manageable.

After applying the foundation, I added my concealer and finished with powder like I normally would.

I’ve seen people apply foundation sticks to the face and buffing it out with a brush and I’ve also seen people just use their hands. The hands add a great amount of heat to the face as you’re moving the product around, which in my opinion is always great. Don’t sleep on your hands people, they’re great makeup tools!

I love that this foundation comes in 39 shades! I think it’s super inclusive and this makes it easier for people to find their perfect match.

A lot of times, people will use foundation sticks as highlight and contour, which I am a huge fan of. The foundation alone iss great because it’s not drying on the skin.

Though I’m oily and love a mostly matte look, this foundation did wonders by adding a subtle glow to the skin.
