Great news from nail brand ESsie! It has just been reported that the popular nail brand has committed to producing nail polishes that are vegan and eight-free. This means that the brand will exclude including ingredients such as formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, xylene, and triphenyl phosphate in their nail polishes.
The reformulation of nail polishes will be for all of Essie’s polish lines including Gel Couture Longwear and Treat Love & Color. Products release from the brand from this point on and moving forward will be free of animal-derived ingredients and the eight additional ingredients.
In celebration of this new era for the brand, they will be releasing brand new shades across their collections: Dial It Up, Brilliant Brocades, and Not Red-Y for Bed.
Not Red-Y for Bed includes nin shades in red, pink, netural, and blue hues. Brilliant Brocades offers six Gel Couture shades in deep and muted pinks, reds, and blues.
Finally, The Dial Up collection includes 10 Expressie polishes such as teals and neons.
