Run Sweetheart Run is the newest film to debut on Amazon Prime Video, and it arrives in perfect timing for Halloween. Hitting the streaming platform globally on October 28th, the film hosted its exclusive red carpet premiere at the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Sheen Magazine was in attendance, capturing the beautiful Ella Balinska on the red carpet who was dressed in an all-black ensemble with a smokey eye. Run Sweetheart Run sees Ella meeting the man of her dreams… but things quickly take a left turn as they spend time one on one, as he reveals his true colors. Suddenly, all hell breaks loose as Ella is seen fleeing for her life.
Speaking with director Shana Feste on the red carpet, she reveals exactly what she wants people to take away from the film. “You know what, I want people to be scared. First of all, I want people to be really scared. But also at the end of the day, I want them to go home and think, ‘what’s one day in the life of being a woman?’ What it’s really like. As terrifying and revealing amazing as it is, there’s some real fear right now in being a female.”
After the screening, the cast sat down for an intimate Q&A inside the historic Theater at Ace Hotel. The evening also served as the last evening of Screamfest, the longest-standing horror film festival.
