Power couple Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson are back on television, serving up looks, luxury, and transforming houses into dream homes. On Monday, the duo celebrated at MODex Studios in Atlanta with a watch party for the second episode of Married to Real Estate season 4. The event brought together family, friends, and celebrities, including Lamman Rucker of Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns and Greenleaf, the legendary Jasmine Guy from A Different World, singer-songwriter Montell Jordan, and more.
Produced by LIQUID SOUL and hosted by Brooklyn native Raeshawn Holiday, the watch party was an intimate gathering that reflected Sherrod and Jackson’s success. Guests enjoyed catered light bites and an open bar while watching the episode in two screening areas—one upstairs for media and overflow, and another downstairs where Egypt and Mike watched alongside their close friends and family. After the screening, the couple engaged in a fireside chat, giving attendees a deeper look into their journey and the making of the show.
“I get to do what I love with the person I love,” said Sherrod. “When we entered this whole rollercoaster ride of a show, we set our priorities—family, God, and our marriage. Anything else is just a cherry on top.”
Friends of the family, like actress Jasmine Guy, shared her excitement for season 4. “I hope they continue to show not only the marriage in their relationship but also the marriage in design and construction,” said Guy.
The renewal of Black reality shows depends on several factors, including ratings, audience engagement, production quality, and cultural relevance. Season after season, Married to Real Estate has resonated with viewers by offering an authentic glimpse into Sherrod and Jackson’s world, where marriage, family, and real estate intersect. As they help clients find and design their dream homes, they also invite audiences into their personal journey—navigating parenthood, personal, and career growth. This blend of personal milestones and professional achievements has helped the show resonate with many, proving that behind every house they build is a strong foundation of God, love and teamwork.
“We don’t take it for granted. It is very humbling, and it is a blessing to make it this far,” said Jackson. “Amongst the plethora of content out there, being able to break through and remain relevant is truly a blessing.”
Family is at the heart of everything they do. Beyond renovating homes, Sherrod and Jackson want their “fams” to feel connected to them on a deeper level. Through Married to Real Estate, they share not just stunning transformations but also the values and relationships that keep them grounded.
Viewers can watch Egypt and Mike bring dream homes to life every Wednesday on HGTV, with episodes available to stream the next day on Max.
