Multi-platinum-selling hip-hop artist Cory Gunz returns with his highly-anticipated music video for his latest track “Count” featuring the fellow Militia member Whispers. You can watch the new video HERE.

The visual brings the song’s powerful message of perseverance and ambition to life with pulse-pounding opening shots of Cory and the Militia crew recording the track in the studio. “Count” is a track that pairs a gritty street narrative with slick, high-energy production by Khardier Da God, showcasing Gunz’s undeniable lyrical prowess and Whispers’ smooth yet impactful vocal presence. “Count” is an anthem for anyone pushing past obstacles and staying focused on the grind, while amplifying its message of ambition, resilience and success.

Cory Gunz, known for his unparalleled flow and technical skill, has been making waves in the rap scene for over a decade, and “Count” is yet another testament to his growth as an artist. With Whispers’ wordplay adding another layer to the track, “Count” is one of the standout tracks on The Militia tape. The release of the video for “Count” comes off the heels of Cory’s visual for “Get Sh*t Started” and the previously released visuals for “Band 4 Band (Freestyle)” featuring RMK.

In November, the Bronx native unveiled his the deluxe version of The Militia mixtape where Cory teams up with fellow Militia members Black Saun, Qui3t, Whispers, RMK, Mulaarie and Pax3 on 13 new tracks. The Militia members rap over Jersey club beats and gritty beats such as “Bout Mine” featuring Ms. Hustle and “Club & Go.” The tape also pays homage to veteran rapper-turned-podcaster N.O.R.E.‘s self-titled, debut album with the song “Head Tonight.”
