Attending 2022’s Wimbledon, CoCo Guaff takes a major W during a single match with Elina- Gabriella Ruse. On June 28th, 2022, Gauff made a clean sweep setting her scores at 2-6, 6-3,7-5. What really made headliners was the 18-year old’s turn around after losing the opening set to her opponent. Never letting discouragement take underway, Guaff bounced back receiving a set score of 2-4. In the middle of the first set, I was freaking out a bit, but I thought the worst that can happen is that I lose — it’s not the end of the world.
