Chapman Foundation and Sheen Magazine will be celebrating Life, Survival, and purpose at our Annual “Pynkalycious” Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, Saturday, October 10th, 2020 at the Younts Center, 315 N. Main St. Fountain Inn, SC 29644 starting at 9:00 am.
We will continue to support Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Cancer by donating wigs through our wigged out Wednesday program. This event will also raise funds that will go to the Cancer Society of Greenville. They are a local agency that supports cancer patients in Greenville and Pickens County. We invite the community to participate in this momentous experience.
We strongly believe that early detection is one of the most effective means of fighting breast cancer, especially in the current climate that we are in.
We understand that the pandemic has been hard for everyone, however we still want to serve our community during this difficult time. People with pre-existing illnesses are among those who are at a high risk of contracting the coronavirus. That’s why we need your support now more than ever to help ensure that we keep these patients as healthy as possible.
We will have slight modifications to the event to ensure the safety of our staff and participants. Registration for the walk will include a Pynkalycious mask and t-shirt that can be worn during the walk.
We would love for you to invite your friends and family to participate in the 4K walk. We have devised a plan of action that will embrace social distancing. The walk will be started in groups, and you are encouraged to stay with the people you came with.
This is a great opportunity to bring the community of Fountain Inn and surrounding together to make a difference and impact the fight against breast cancer.
