Why is fitness so important for spiritual, mental, and physical well-being?
We have a tendency to compartmentalize the different aspects of our life. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. We see them as different parts, not realizing they’re all interconnected. The body-mind connection is a real thing. When we take care of our body, it also impacts our minds, emotions, and spirit – and vice versa. One study showed a significant decrease in clinical depression in weekly physical activity, versus the control group who did not. Everything is connected, and when we can see that, we start looking at our health in a holistic way.
