YOU MAKE THE BAG, a revolutionary American ready-to-wear brand, launched its global website and unveiled its inaugural handbag collection on September 4th, aligning with the start of NYFW. The launch was a triumph, with two fashion events that captured the essence of Broadway and embodied the brand’s philosophy of ‘YOU MAKE THE BAG, THE BAG DOESN’T MAKE YOU’. The daytime event featured a themed ‘Street Fashion Show,’ showcasing trash bags in a creative and unconventional manner, while the nighttime event focused on displaying luxury handbags on the sidewalk of Broadway and 45th Street, to an audience of hundreds.
Prior to departing from New York City, Dana Hicks-Hungerford, the CEO of @YouMakeTheBag, showcased her luxury handbag line at the Ashleigh Renee Fashions event on September 6th. Her designs enhanced every ensemble on the runway, and she was invited to personally model her handbags under the dazzling lights.
 
Dana has an amazing vision for the brand and she gives that credit to God. She expresses gratitude to her husband, Brian Hungerford, for his unwavering support and partnership in Hungerford Distribution.
