What do you define as success?

Kimberly: I believe success is having a vision, focusing on making a difference, and impacting the lives of others.

What was the inspiration behind your passion for baking?

Kimberly: I loved watching my mom create desserts in the kitchen. Baking became a way for me to express love and nurture others through food, making me feel like I’m giving something valuable to those around me.

Do you believe in work-life balance? If so, how do you maintain it?

Kimberly: Yes, I believe work-life balance is important. However, “balance” may not be the right term; instead, we each have our own norm that works for us. When we find that, we thrive—both as individuals and as families. It’s essential to discover what works best for you.

What’s your best piece of advice for aspiring and new bakers?

Kimberly: Draw inspiration from your personal experiences, hobbies, or meaningful moments. Create cakes that reflect your passions and tell a story.

Can you share a fun baking tip or trick that home bakers should know?

Kimberly: Don’t waste cake! If you’re not satisfied with the final result, you can freeze the cake and remove the decorations to try a different technique.

Any upcoming events or news?

Kimberly: I will be competing in another baking competition show. Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking premieres Thursday, November 14th at 7 pm CT / 8 pm ET on Food Network.
