The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame Induction ceremony was a night to remember celebrating iconic individuals and organizations that have impacted Black culture and continue to lead the community into the future.
With over 3,500 attendees and 250 VIPs in the music and entertainment industries, the event entailed the unveiling of the Crown Jewels, as well as food, fun, tributes, and live performances! Inductees included former Sheen Magazine cover girl Cathy Hughes, T.D. Jakes, Charlie Wilson, RUN DMC, Tamela Mann, Donnie McClurkin, Prince Estate, Bob Marley Estate, and more!
On Saturday, June 18th 2022 at the Mercedes Benz Stadium and Home Depot Backyard in Atlanta, Georgia, the inductees were recognized with the Crown Jewels of Excellence emblems, which are permanently installed on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, in front of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The star-studded event included special performances and appearances by Jekalyn Carr, Rohan Marley, Jac Ross, Angela Simmons, Sir the Baptist featuring TSU Band, and more! The Walk of Fame is a joint initiative by the Black American Music Association (BAM), a 501©(6) professional trade organization, and Georgia Entertainment Caucus (GEC), a 501©(4) organization.
