[Los Angeles, CA] Today, indie alternative R&B singer Casper Sage reminisces on an emotional time period in his life with new EP, Pseudo.
Casper uses his smooth, melodic tone to take fans on a journey through his conflicting thoughts of staying alone or pursuing love. The EP is packaged into a trio of songs including “Pseudo” (prod. SEPH x Viko Marley x Casper Sage), “FML” and the previously released track, “Spinnin.”
Sage describes the project as “an encapsulation of a moment in time that was filled with purposeful loneliness, chaotic emotional turmoil, and vices trying to cover it all up.” The song selection “really works to represent what it’s like to want people around you when you’re lonely, but constantly feel like you might be better off on your own,” says Casper. He also recalls “recording it was almost worryingly easy as the music came together extremely quickly and the lyrics just follow what the instrumental felt like to me. One of my favorite experiences recording in LA undoubtedly.”
The 21-year-old multi-hyphenate indie musician has been steadily growing his audience over the last two years by releasing music that showcases a lyricism and musicality beyond his years. He has already won acclaim from the likes of Billboard, Genius, Rated R&B and UPROXX, as well as received massive support from both Spotify & Apple Music.
