Drill Movie “Yall Drawn” is Coming to AMC Theaters on August 16th
“Yall Drawn” is an uproarious comedy coming to AMC Theaters on August 16th, 2024. The film follows community activists Maurice and Darryl, portrayed by comedian and producer Boone and film producer Rich, who become the unlikely targets of the notorious drill rap gang, “The Park Apes.” Boone & Rich Films aspired to create a film that resonates with and entertains the younger generation, while promoting the message of unity and strength.  “Yall Drawn” is highly anticipated, with endorsements from notable figures like Lee Daniels and Katt Williams.
The title “Yall Drawn” is Philadelphia slang used to describe someone causing unwanted attention, encouraging youth to align their actions positively. The comedy ensues when a carjacking by the gang goes live on social media and hilariously backfires. Maurice seizes their gun and phone during the altercation, live-streaming an epic humiliation that triggers a series of wild events. As the gang vows revenge, the movie unfolds with botched schemes, outrageous showdowns, and comedic attempts on the protagonists’ lives.
The mission behind “Yall Drawn” is to engage the youth involved in gang and drill rap culture by showcasing the unattractive and unappealing behaviors prevalent in their communities. The film aims to deliver its message through humor and storytelling, featuring popular influencers and comedians loved by the youth. The film also includes notable figures from Philadelphia, such as DJs Diamond Kutz and Cosmic Kev, and Ricky Duncan, founder of the NOMO Foundation.
