“IF YOU COULD SEE YOU” is J. BROWN‘s 2nd Billboard #1R&B song this year. This outstanding accomplishment follows the success of his previous #1 Billboard R&B single, “My Whole Heart.” The powerful ballad went on to hold the #1 spot for three consecutive weeks and went on record as being the second fastest growing song at urban radio in 2023, taking 14 weeks to reach the #1 spot.

Brown. “If You Could See You,” was written by Julian “Blake Winters” Ray, Mason David Michael and Dan Mitchell and produced by Carvin Haggins. “I love this record because of the empowering message that it brings to women around the world. It is about the outside person sharing how beautiful you are, even when you do not see yourself as beautiful. It’s about reminding that special one that they possess inner beauty,” mentions J. Brown. The beautifully written ballad, serves as J. BROWN’s 8th Top 10 Billboard R&B song and 2nd #1 song in the last four years as a full independent artist, via Mocha Music Entertainment in partnership with SRG-ILS Group.

Later this summer, J. BROWN will receiving an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanity for his contributions to the arts along with The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
