BET Set to Air the 36^th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards

Get ready because the gospel event of the year is quickly approaching! The 36^th annual Stellar Awards will air on BET on Sunday, August 1^st, 2021 at 8 PM EST!

This year, Tye Tribbett and Jekalyn Carr will host the event, where artists in gospel will be awarded for their achievements within the past year. What would an award show be without performances, right? This year, you can expect to see performances from artists such as Yolanda Adams, Kierra Sheard, Avery*Sunshine, Jonathan McReynolds, J.J. Hairston, and many more!

The Clark Sisters will be honored with the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award and deliver a performance as well!

Anthony Brown & group therapy, Kierra Sheard, Maverick City Music, and Pastor Mike all lead the pack this year with the most nominations.

The Stellar Awards will air on BET, BET HER, and  BET Gospel on Sunday, August 1st, as well as BET International on August  2nd.
